Kate Fuller - Tipsy

Kate is an Australian singer songwriter living in Los Angeles, California.


After 4 years of studying single studies jazz voice at the Elder School of Music in Adelaide, Australia, Kate immersed herself in the city’s thriving jazz scene, performing with some of Adelaide’s best jazz musicians, and as FiFi in The Weimar Room’s acclaimed Adelaide Fringe show The Berlin Cabaret.

In 2004, Kate took her career to the next level writing, directing and performing Eva – a one-woman tribute to Eva Cassidy – to sold out crowds during Adelaide's Cabaret Festival Fringe.

Two of Kate’s major musical achievements have been winning the National Glenn Shorrock Scholarship Award for singer songwriters in 2005, and performing as a semi-finalist in the 2006 Montreux Jazz Festival, Shure Voice Competition.

In 2007 Kate launched her debut album Tipsy – a smooth mix of standards, paired with her own jazz and blues inspired originals.

Since releasing Tipsy Kate has been living in Southern California collaborating with legendary San Diego jazz guitarist Peter Sprague – fusing her mixed love of folk and jazz to create a uniquely cheeky and fun sound.

Kate is currently studying voice at the Los Angeles Music Academy under the guidance of Kathleen Grace and Grammy nominated jazz singer Tierney Sutton.
